I am looking to organise a trip to Mallorca (now in its 6th Year) and have looked at different hotels as an alternative to the Duva Hotel where we usually stay.
One of these is the Ferrer Hotel Janiero at Can Picafort and they have offered us a group rate for 10 various type double rooms and apartments from 13 March to 2 Apr 2020. The cheapest room with half board is approx. 53 euros so a few euros dearer than the Duva – see price list. Although Can Picafort is a bit more commercial than Porto Pollensa the hotel is at the southern edge of town so not too busy and there is a beach at Son Baulo close by.
Some of the advantages of the Janiero over the Duva is the closer proximity to destinations such as Petra, Sineu, Muro, Arta and also the monastery at San Salvador. The hotel itself has a large bike garage as well an excellent buffet.
Propose that we go Sun 22 to Sun 29 March or maybe longer if you wish. This also coincides when the GCN team are out there and have training rides on as well as filming and they also have a live GCN show like they did this year.
