With such a healthy number of members at the moment I’m sure we could get a minibus or 2 up to Yorkshire to watch Stage 1 and Stage 2 of this years Tour.

Accommodation
I think Hotels, B & B’s etc were all booked within a few days of the 2014 route being announced so we are looking at camping somewhere (unless you know of somewhere we can stay) I’ve recently received an email for Nidderdale BikeFest camp site which is just outside Harrogate and is £20 a night and has all facilities inc bar/restaurant and live music on Sat night.
Transport
Dorset Vehicle Rentals in Gillingham do a 17 Seat minibus, but we would need to take 6/7 seats out for bikes/kit etc so we are looking at a party of 10/11. If there are 16 + who want to go then we could hire a transit van to take the bikes.
Cost
17 Seat Minibus Vehicle Rental – £328 for 4 days hire
Fuel – £120 (600 miles @ 30 mpg)
Camping – £60 (£20 a night)
Itinerary
08:00 Friday 4th pick up transport and depart for Harrogate
17:00 Monday 7th return to Gillingham
